I Do Like To Be Beside The Seaside

I do like to be beside the seaside
It is the only place to be
To live the dream
I feel as though God’s arms
Are wrapped around me

Slumbering under the surreal Caribbean sky
Like the Little Prince might have done
Taking care of what God has blessed me with
I wish I knew then what I know now
To be thankful and count my blessings
I would have taken things a lot slower
Life can be long…but then again sometimes
Life is cut short
And I do not know why.
